Camelon is a village on the Forth and Clyde canal, near Falkirk. I am connected to Baird, Scott, Cowie, and Johnstons from this area, and as I dug into their pasts, I found myself entangled in several large families with interconnected stories. These tales of tavern keepers, boatmen, masons and ironworkers will be told here.
